Mr. Terence Chern is Senior Vice President & CRO of Nan Shan Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Terence joined Nan Shan in 2002. He was appointed to this position in May 2009. Prior to this role, Terence was Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer. He has extensive experience in insurance asset management/corporate banking (in both marketing & risk management functions) for nearly 26 years, mainly with Nan Shan and ABN AMRO(AA) TAIWAN & AA’s regional office in Singapore. He was also the Country Risk Officer of ABN AMRO Bank Taiwan prior to joining Nan Shan. Terence graduated from the University of Iowa in the U.S.A. with MBA degree majored in finance. Along with his professional experiences, he was lecturer of the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance and the Fu Jen Catholic University.
